Went riding with a buddy. We're on the Roosevelt Blvd light turns green. He's full on the throttle of his 06 Road King and me on my 02 Train. Next thing I know he's about 2 buses ahead of me. $ is a tight right now but how much more power would a hyper charger give me. When he took off I felt like the loser on 'Pinks'.
I don't know what every body has against the hypercharger
I have one have had it for quit a time first thing I bought for my 04 softtail
can't really say if it makes any hp or not. it does feel better than it did without it
as far as a good breather it has no choice but to get air and lots of it.
I have 41.000 on mine and love it ....

They Hypercharger is mainly for looks. You would be better off buying the SE back plate, screws and breather rubbers and a K and N filter for under 150 bucks.
The H-Charger will grab more air but only at speed. You can accomplish the same thing with a forward facing velocity stack. Off the line the H-Charger isn't gonna flow any more air than anything else out there. It's not a supercharger. It's a glorified bird-catcher.

I agree. I've looked into them quite a bit, and found that they're not worth the money (my opinion).
