I don't think so. I have the stock seat on my night train and it is listed as a "badlander" but it looks different than the one they sell for other bikes.
Let me tell you if you are thinking of getting one , DON'T! About 30 minutes into the saddle and your *** will be screaming for mercy. I rode 220 miles the other day and my frigin legs STILL hurt.
Yep, the Badlander is stock on the Night Train. Some guys complain about them, but I like em enough to have put one on just about every bike I had before I got the Train. I've done several hundred miles a day on mine with no problem. Different strokes.
+1 when I first got my nightrain after an hour it hurt but like anything else I got used to it. I went almost 200 miles on sat and loved every minute of it, great bike and seat

I think it's the heavier riders that have a problem with the Badlander. I'm no longer running one, but when I did, I had no problem with it.
As it was stated before they are the same. I have an 06 night train with 9000 miles. and i keep pushing off buying a seat for other products but i have had enough i do NOT like the seat and just ordered a mustang fastback seat cant wait. Some people love the seat and some hate it.
I have an 07 night train with 9600 miles on it and that badlander sucks. I rode from Pa to Laconia last year and my *** was killing me. I thought well it will break in NOPE I ride everyday round trip 56 miles and somedays its a killer. I rode 450 miles last weekend and towards the end I was dying. I am 6'5" and 260lbs so it could be the weight. I guy on this list said to get a c & c seat, I was looking at a mustang also but for as tall as I am I want it to push back further but not up like a tallboy
the Badlander makes the NT look really nice, and never thought it was that bad. I ended up upgrading because of the grrrl to get a nicer seat for her on longer rides, i went with the couch-like Sundowner Deep Bucket, which sits me 1inch lower, and i wont go back because of how comfortable it is. Looks horrible though when i take my detachable sissy bar when riding alone, but feels great.
Over all, i like the Badlander, just on long rides, gotta upgrade.
