Rear Lowering Kit 54001-04
I picked up a Harley Davidson genuine part Rear Lowering Kit 54001-04 for my 08 Fatboy. I have dealers. (Yes more than one in my area) saying that they don’t want to install it. And that it is not a good part to use and that that I should get a White brothers kit. What the hell is this? It’s a Harley part. Man am I getting sick of dealers. So far they all suck.
Could I put it on myself? How hard can it be?

There are a few HD parts that are garbage, the dealer staff knows it, so they do not install or sell them. One part that comes to mind is the LED fuel caps. Did you order it online somewhere and go to them to get it installed? Kind of like going to an Italian restaurant, pouring a can of Spaghettios into a bowl, then asking for a glass of water.

i have a set of stock softail shocks w/ lowering bolts already installed that are ready to go in for $80 shipped, shocks and all, then just return the bolts and put in the new shocks just pm me if you want them
