Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know about a company who makes a CUSTOM HORN COVERS using the Willie G. Skull collection theme. I could never figure out why Harley makes every other skull accessory EXCEPT a horn cover. Well this outfit has several designs to pick from......and man are they nice. I just got it delivered today ( ordered Sunday, arrived via UPS on Wednesday) and ordered the "PLAIN SHIELD WITH SKULL INSERT"..BAH 4031.
All I can say is WOW. The Chrome is outstanding and the thing is substantial not only in size but weight. Just for the heck of it, I put it on the scale and it's just shy of 2 pounds. That's one heavy piece. Yes, they are expensive, but if you want to stay true to the Willie G Skull collection, this place has you covered....... ( no pun intended) and it's worth the money. They also make unique air covers too. As soon as we get this on the Softail, I'll post photos. But I can tell you......their work is outstanding.
Yes, we went there, but they dont stay true to Harley's Willie G. Skull Collection....
and when you have that particular skull on everything else on your bike from the floor boards to the head lamp to the mirrors and grips, primary cover... you want to maintain that theme throughout the entire bike. My Hubby wanted to keep the stock horn's shape, but have the Willie G skull logo on it......and this is the ONLY place that has it. The horn is 1/4" thick at it's thinnest point. I mean, this thing is one heavy weight of a cover.
