Backrest
I have an 07 DELUXE and want a backrest but am told I have to get a different seat.
Is this true and if so I may make one myself. Any suggestions??? Thank u in advance

Start by checkin the newest HD wish book, I know they have ALOT of bolt on solutions with seats,sissybars and luggage that have built in backrests. Go from there bro......

Far as I know HD doesn't offer any independent backrests for softails. Wish they did, I'd have one by now.
firehousecustoms makes one that's received many positive reviews. Only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't fold forward.

jimmers1817 I just emailed firehouse and am anxiously awaiting their reply. I really appreciate the info as my bad leg is what led me to the low seat DELUXE and a new seat will be a little higher and cost prohibitive right now.
