difference between lowering bolts and 422 shocks

difference between lowering bolts and 422 shocks
im looking to lower my rocker 2" but im tossed between buying a 422 progressive shock or just buying the lowering bolt for my existing shock, the price difference is about 400$, but my question is there a noticeable difference in feeling and drive?

Do a search on EBay for the 422. I got mine for $350 and at times they are on there cheaper still.
I had the Harley lowering bolts and the ride sucked...Like the 422 a lot better. This is on an 08 Fatty.

My 2 cents
I went with the 422 on my 04 Fatboy. Love the look and boy is it low. Could have went 2 inches but I stopped at 1 1/2. Still have to play with the preload on mine but I love them so far.
