Default Alarm

Just reprogrammed my key fob due to a battery replacement. Have not used it in about 1 year. No manual. I know 2 chirps sets the alarm but it seems when I push the button it almost always gives me 2 chirps and therefore the alarm is continually set. Any secrets to this?

Thanks,

SD

I don't quite understand what you are saying. If the alarm is always set, how do you ride the bike?
Hold the button down until the siren chirps twice. This sets the alarm. Press the button twice fast, the siren chirps once and the alarm/security is disabled.

I have 2 bikes, an 06 Springer with an alarm with a fob that you have to engage. My 09 Springer does not have an alarm. In 07 they started using a system that self arms. I hate it all it does is draw on the battery. If they want it, they will get it alarm or not. A chain through the frame attached to another bike or a fixed object in a conspicuous location is best. Insur it and forget it.

+1 on the Scorpio, plug and play, it comes with the bridge harness if you order it, no cutting and soldering needed. Loaded with features, pager system included.
