Default Apes on my Bones

I am going to purchase these apes to install on my Bones.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ape-h...spagenameZWDVW
I am going to get the Novello 12" wiring extensions but I am not sure what length I should go for the throttle, idle, clutch and brake lines. I am thinking 8" longer than stock or would 10" be the way to go? I don't want them too short or flapping in the wind. Any advice? Thanks guys

Sorry.. but IMHO those bars just don't fit the "old style" bike.
The Z bars look cool, but just look too modern for the xbones bike..but maybe you
can make them fit....let's see a pic after the install and I might change my mind.

A member on this forum (SAS) has the z bars on his bones and it looks great. I just dont want to be a "copy cat". I was also considering these bars.

I think these would look (fit) much better to me..
but hey...don't let me influence you too much...(or at all)
it is your bike and you need to make it yours....
I don't want you to regret not getting the bars you really want
just because this a-hole (me) wrote something here....
I appreciate comments from people... but in the end it's my bike
and I want it the way I like it...
I really like the looks of the xbones.....you got one fine bike..

as far as being a copy cat...hey.. why do you think everybody
wants to see pics of other peoples' bikes???
And if I lived on the island I wouldn't worry too much about running in
to another xbones with Z-bars on it.
