Okay, now that I have made my decision to buy the wheels before the big bore kit. Is there anywhere to pick up a set of wheels for less than like $2000.00? I found the DNA Mammoth 52's and have pretty much decided on them, but I do like the billet type wheels. Anywhere to get them a little more reasonably than 2 grand?
You can get just the Mammoth 52 spokes in a set of 2 for about $850 on ebay from KC Int'l. That is just the wheels so you will still need to get tires and rotors and pulleys if you choose. Here is a link. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/52-Sp...mZ110303440798
Just make sure you get 3/4" bearings instead of whatever are in the bagger wheels.
thanks anubiss, I saw that on Ebay. I also called and spoke to those guys and they emailed me some pics of a fatboy with a 21" front wheel. Will be going with the 18" though. Probably will go all chrome instead of the black spokes too. I am waiting on an email back for the price of the tires. Probably go with the Metzler M880's.

Those are killer! Do it WARG! I want to see the pics when you get them on.
Yeah, I love those Panther wheels. They would be my first choice but $2150 for a set of wheels, pulley and rotors when i can get the Mammoth Spokes wheels, pulley and rotors for about $1150 is hard to justify. I like both sets of wheels A LOT, I don't like the Panthers twice as much as the other as the price would reflect.
I have looked through their gallery several times. Very nice bikes in there and those wheels are great. I think the mag wheels are going to be little steep for my budget. But that's okay b/c I will definately be happy with the Fat Spoke Wheels. I kinda think they may fit the look I am going for better anyway. I keep waffling on the black spoke/chrome rim vs. chrome spokes and rims thing, however. I guess chrome is the "safer" choice.
