Fog lights?

For about 12 months every so often, I've been experiencing intermittent headlight operation. No rhyme or reason. Last month, it finally went out completely (or so I thought) I broke down the headlight and sure enough, the connector was fried. I cobbled it together and still, intermittent shorting.
I found this thread, ran down to Manny, Moe & Jack and sure enough they had an H4 connector, wired it up...and BOOM LIGHTS!!!!
Spent $3.95 on the connector and about an hour alltogether.
