Default Another rim swap question

I am considering putting a rear Fatboy wheel on my 2004 FXST. The FB rim is from a 2003. I believe this is ok, but want to make sure. Also, I have a new Dunlop D401 tire on the spoke rim with a tube. Since the new rim would be a tubeless application, can this tire be mounted to the new rim?
Thanks in advance for your help.

The tire can be mounted without a tube. I know the fatboy rims have 3/4" axles. Make sure you ahve 3/4" axles too. I don't know the size on your bike but would assume it is the same size. This is a simple swap. Take the wheel off and take both wheels to an indy and have them put the tire on the new wheels. Usually about $25. Take wheels home and put new rim on bike. I have a fatboy rear rim from my 2002 sitting right here if you are interested in picking it up from me.
