I think about getting one everyday when I ride to work, so I can figure out if I can take a long detour
Oh this is an easy one. The Harley Davidson Quick Detatch windshield is about the biggest, non functioning piece of S$%t that was ever conceived, Do they not test them to see if the design works before they take your $400.00? Words to the wise, If you have a Custom and want a windshield you might as well just throw your money away Gambling or go to a titty bar, at least you will have memories to hang onto.

I'd rank the undersize Harley saddlebags right up there with it. Fortunately I bought both of those items on ebay so I only paid about 1/3 of what Harley wants for them. Still could have used the money for something better like gas.

I truly believe that I have indulged in one of the world's most frivilous expenditures ! I bought a brand new 2008 FXSTSSE2 and as soon as it was broken in-the dealer encouraged me to build the engine to what he called a "TORQUE MONSTER". I had them do it and within three thousand miles the engine took a major dump ! It had 125hp & 125 tq but it didn't run very long and guess what they told me about a warranty-----Yup---nonexsistant !
Anyway I paid to fix it and sold it immediately---of course I lost my A$$.
My all but stock Deluxe is now very much to my liking considering what I did in the name of speed and trying to be "cool".
Boy ! was that a lesson learned !
(11-06-08 my attachments have been stolen !!!! Put them back !!
