Had mine reworked by Americana Soft Seats. They take off the cover, shave off the padding in back, put on tempurpedic type material, and embed a gel pad where you sit. Then recover. I can do back to back 600 mile days no problem (done it twice getting to and back from Sturgis). They can do the wide passenger seat as well, if you need. Reasonable price.

I'm only 5'7" but I hated the stock Deluxe seat from day 1. I first tried the Sundowner and it was a big improvement, but then decided I wanted a backrest. I had a Mustang on my Yamaha V-Start several years ago so I knew they made great seats. So after selling my Sundowner on the Forum I got the wide vintage Mustang with backrest. It works for me. I can ride for hours and never feel any strain. If you can put up with the look, it's a great seat for rider and passenger comfort.
