Default Will those fit this?

A friend has a 1998 Fat Boy with a set of Factory 16" wire spoke wheels on it. He is going back to the Fat Boy solid wheels that came on the bike.
I have a 1997 Heritage SPRINGER Softail with 16" front & rear wire spokes ( mine has 50,000 miles on them his have about 2,500.)
Question - will they bolt up? The rear should without a hitch but no one seems to be able to say for sure if the front will fit or not. If I need to buy a new spacer or something simple I'm still in, but if you need to go through a lot of hoops to make them work, I'll pass.
Can any of you guys answer this one for sure?
thanks

The Springer wheel uses a different hub than the Fat Boy wheel.
