The transmission may need to be offset as well.

Im actually wanting to put an 06 swingarm on an 07. Its a 240 rear swingarm for an 06. RC components has the wide tire kit that has the single pipe swingarm instead of the V shaped one. They only make the kits for up to 06 since 07+ has the 6 speed tranny. Im hoping to just buy the 240 swingarm from them and then get the tranny offset kit from heartland or somebody else. So the long winded question here is would that 06 240 swing arm bolt on to an 07 frame?

i am currently workin on putting a 200 on my 02 standard myself. i bought an 18x5.5 wheel laced with new style softail hub so i supposedly wont have to mess with my brakes but i did buy an 06 fxst sprocket (skinny one) cus i'm told thats what you need to go up to 200. i also bought an 06 fxst fender and am trying to find a good deal on some 06 struts. im told you can use those factory struts if you drill and tap one of the holes on the frame. if thats not something you want to do there is are "custom struts" available but they want $895 for them which i think is a rip. i wanna get my bike on the lift this week and see how the wheel fits.. i'll try to post some results/pics...

Hey are those for a 9" wide fender? Do they have internal mount holes? How much?

Please keep me updated if you find any more info that will help and I'll do the same.

is that going to work with the 08 swingarm? I thought the axle sizes where different from 07 to 08? you might wanna check that. I know that a 08 rear wheel will not fit on a 07 swingarm! Pain in the butt

Bigbluefatboy,
I screwed up. I double checked and it's an '07 swingarm. I think that the rim I got is from a '06. It's for a 3/4" axle. But I think I could just swap the bearings out for the 1" axle if need be. Now I need to find out for sure about the size pulley and belt I need. And about the brake rotor and stuff.

Thanks,
Robert
