Hey everyone just joined the forum, I just got back from Iraq and now its time for my first harley. I'm planning on getting the 09 Rocker c crimson red sunglo here in Ohio, going to wheel and deal at the dealership tomorrow any advice plan to buy in about 4- 6 weeks
Shop around, you might look into 08's. You may be able to get below MSRP on the older inventory. You might check the used market too. Lots of used bikes and motivated sellers.
Welcome back & thank you for your service.
You will love the Rocker, at Kellys HD in Ma, you can get a 08 for $15,700.00
With $500 worth of add-ons for free dont see why you cant get the deal where you are.
If you cant get the deal buy it at kellys & ride it or put it in a u-haul. You deserve it.
Welcome home! You might get a good deal on a leftover '08 but at the same time some local dealers around me are offering extra's on '09s. One is throwing in the first 5 services including oil changes,5'000 & 10'000mile service. Others are throwing accessories packages. Best bet would be to shop around though. A lot of dealers sell at msrp but the way everything is going it is a buyers market.
Welcome home and thanks for your service Ivet08.Like others said above the used market is ripe right now. You're likely to find an 08/07 with extras for less than the price of new and come out ahead.
