I'm looking at buying ths Bike there asking $8900. The bike is a 2007 FXSTBI Night train it has a salvaged title, 1600miles as you can see in the pics it was hit in the front. The frame is ok the tank is good the tire holds air and the wheel may be bent but it looks ok. It will need new forward controls and forks. The bars and risers are ok but need to be adjusted and the primary cover is cracked.
I take it you have n't seen this bike in person. It looks like from the bottom pic the front wheel IS bent, right in front of the fork tube.
You can buy the parts used, lots of us have the front ends, stock wheels and primary covers around. I'd say if you installed everything yourself, you could get those things for 3 or 4 hundred. The problem is you don't know what else is wrong that's not visible. $8900 is probably too much to take a chance.

I have seen the bike myself and the wheel is not bent were you are looking it is set in a grove on the rack. I found the primary cover and the forks on here for about $325 and i plan on doing all the work myself. I was going to offer them $7500 and see what happens. That would be about 1/2 book value. The bike is at a local rebiulders dealer that i have done some busness with in the past on cars and parts. The truck i drive everyday for the past 3years i bought wecked and havent had a problem but this would be my first wecked bike and my second HD. I sold mine about 3 months ago and can't wait to get another.

This bike is JUnk!!! you have no resale in it . with a salvaged title and yes that front wheel has a flat spot on it just under the fender. if you really want the bike? im sure the Hd stealer will take your $8900.00 as a down and just pay off the rest in payments. besides a bike that has been wrecked as that one has BAD carma. no matter how big your bell is on the bottom. it wont scare away the evil bike spirits. lol
That bike is only worth what the good parts are worth. As far as the whole bike, buy it for $4000 and part it out. You might make an extra $1000 to put toward a bike that's never been wrecked! Don't make a foolish mistake and buy someone elses junk!
