Default ISO Throttlel Grip Sticking

Installed new bars with ISO grips and the throttle grip does not return when you give it some throttle and let it go. If I pull it out about 1 to 1 1/2 inches it turns much freer. I reinstalled my old throttle grip and it works fine - plenty of return snap. I put wd40 on the bar and that seemed to help quite a bit although not like the old throttle grip... I also put the ISO grip on the old bar and it seemed to have the same resistance as on the new bar. Any suggestions?

Sand the bore of the grip out until it turns freely.

Are you sure your throttle and idle cable's are adjusted correctly?

is it tight on th bar? install it with no cables? is it tight? try to return it b/4 you sand it or you will be stuck with it.
If the new one is the same then sand it like rbabos said.

Yes, tight on the bar by itself, not installed. Like I said, I reinstalled the original and it worked fine. The original also turned freely by itself. Definitely an issue with the new grip
