I just got my first Harley a few months ago, wilbur, and I also had the choice of a nastalgic evo or a TC88, for a few grand more. After thinking long and hard I went with the evo, and I have no regrets at all, I love the vibe of that evo, and I wanted to exprience it, not read about it. Yes someday I might get a TC, but it won't be any time soon, I love that evo to much to part with it.

A little more info on the "Moo Glide" They only released 2700 of these black and white with the cowhide inserts.

Some call it the Deluxe, or the Heritage Softail Special, or just Nostalgia, Moo Glide, Cow Glide, Road Queen, FatGirl, or FLSTNi. Here is a little history about this special bike.

1993 - Harley-Davidson celebrated 1993 by producing two new models. One was the FLSTN Heritage Softail Special, sometimes referred to as the Nostalgia, which had a high-contrast black and white paint job and natural cowhide inserts on the seat, saddlebags, passenger backrest, and windshield bag. It became affectionately know as the “Moo Glide” or “Cow Glide” and quickly became a collector’s item. The letters FLSTN have come to mean: FL for any big twin with big forks, ST for Softail, and the new N designation for Nostalgia.

1994, 1995 & 1996 - Although the FLSTN was available in 1993, it wasn't until 1994 that Harley officially recognizes the Nostalgia name. The FLSTN Softail Nostalgia was produced for three years ending its run in 1996.

As for your choice, go with what you think you like the most.
