Default 200 on a Deuce

Hello,
I have looked around this forum and found alot of information on putting a 200 on the back of a deuce. All the dealers tell you this cannot be done using a stock 17 x 6 harley softail rim.

I read on here where a guy did this but did not have his tire running straight. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-on-deuce.html

I have an 07 deuce and looked in the harley parts manual and all the spacers are the same for the wide tire softails and the deuce. Swing arm is the same dimensions as well. So I jumped in and bought a 06 softail 17x6 rim, 200mm tire, 07 caliper and bracket, and an 06 pulley. This other guy in the post did it so I should be able to do it too. Done all this without thinking! Dumb move.

06 softails for one used a 70 tooth pulley and NO ONE makes a 66 tooth pulley to fit. The 06 rim has a longer hub on the pulley side which causes alignment problems if you use an 07 pulley. So here I am stuck with all this stuff. Anyone want to purchase an 06 chrome Alcoa 17x6 wheel and Harley 06 chrome blade 70 tooth pulley? I need the 07 version of this wheel one due to the fact the hub is different, but also that the axle is larger on an 07!

Checkhttps://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-on-deuce.html

I have the part number for the wheel listed on ebay if anyone want to try this and has an 06 or older Deuce. I had an 07 and had to use an 07 wheel mainly due to the axle being larger. On my ebay auction I am including the chrome blade sprocket as well for only $450! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_664wt_1316

by the way my ebay auctio number is http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...#ht_664wt_1316

You can get the belt for about $185 from surdykes.com. That is ALOT cheaper than Hogpro's setup! And they use a 18 inch spoke wheel instead of a nice solid CHROME one!
