The dealer had message up the heads to the pins back when I used to let them work on my bike. On my Night Train you have to remove the pads to get the 200 tire and wheel off of the bike (there is a work around for this). So, when they did the tire, I didn't notice the pins were bad until I did the tire the next time.

The pads that I got were from the dealer and either they made a mistake or Harley did... anyway, it wasn't a big deal as long as you figure out that they need to be exactly the same.

The caliper mounting set from Gardner-Wescott has much fatter torx bit heads and these will support the strain of an itty bitty tight bolt that hasn't moved for 15k miles or so.

The pads and pins are exactly the same for front and rear for my bike.

I'm just trying to give everyone a tip of what to look out for. I didn't bother trying to do the job of my dealer's parts department and look up the part myself. If you work on your own bike with quality tools and care, well, then, you can stay with the original design... but if they get frozen, you won't wish that you had no matter how good your 12pt 1/4" socket is.
