It's one of those Big Flat Concrete things they use to divide opposing lanes on roadways

 

disturbing.

We call it K rail in Kalifornia. Has to do with the shape...

 

Jersey barricades were first used in new jersey.Don't remember if the DOT there came up with the idea or what but anyways . It's the concrete barriers that divide the roads that have the slope at the bottom of them. They are made for you to ride up the slope and get shot back onto the road straight instead of hitting a wall and doing 360's. Saw it on the discovery channel awhile ago.
