I saw WARG's thread yesterday as well and looked into it (HD part 60476-00A) - $35.04 from Zanottis.
If you do get it done, could you post a finished pic please... though i'm not far off needing new rear tyre so i might hold off and get the stealer to put it on for me as its near impossible to get my hand inside the fender with my 200mm rear tyre, i need my wife to help me get the sissy bar on and off as it is.
Regarding the license plate plastic, that seems to be fastened by 2 bolts under the fender. Does anyone know if this can be taken off as well, and if so, how to you affix the license plate back onto the rear (without going for a side mount plate option)?
I didn't measure the holes because you may need to move the top holes to fit your method of attaching it to the swingarm. The bottom holes would then need to be marked and drilled accordingly.
My friend has a deuce and he just cut it off flush to the fender, he does have a sidemount. not sure what else you could do. Maybe trim it the size of the plate and leave it on. Just a thought
FXSTD.AU As soon as I get measurements, I will make the diamond plate one and post a picture. As far as the plastic license plate holder, I do know that the plastic that is under the fender acts as a holding area for a bunch of wires. If you remove the entire bracket, you'll need to find a way to secure the wires. If your Deuce is a 2000-2006, they make a chrome repacement for this bracket. If your bike is a 2007, Harley has a chrome license plate mounting bracket that mounts over the black plastic that hangs down. I hope this makes sense. The full replacement chrome piece does not fit on an '07. Rusty

Side mounts are cool. I went with the chromed stamped steel Harley replacement for the stock cheesy plastic. PITA to install. If the cheesy plastic piece fits your 200mm tire, then the metal replacement should not be a problem. But surprised 200mm fits the fender and license brackt.
