does anybody know the harley part number for the battery on a 2005 fatboy (FLSTFI)?

Mine went bad after only two years... same part number. I now use a battery tender on it but did have to get a new one.

Sams (Wal Mart company) has one for half the price of the dealership. About $65.

You can get a good battery from any decent auto parts store, even Sears might sell them cheaper than the dealers.

my family owns an automotive repair facility and i work here so we are direct with interstate.

Just curious, but what's a good interstate battery for a Harley cost these days?

How bout... $65

That's what Sams sells. Came with a sealed system to fill the cells with acid. Took 20 min to prepare the battery for charge, a 2 hr charge and it was ready to go. I'm not displeased with it.

Really? I ordered mine today and my dealer price was 69.99 im going to have to check that out. or maybe that was list. i guess ill find out tomorow when it gets to me.
