curious...my flstc (heritage classic) 2006 model had the battery tender cable hanging down by the oil tank, making it really easy for me to hook up the tender in the winter.
I now have the 2009 FLSTC and had a big boar kit installed and some other minor works. I do not remember paying attention whether the bike had that cable or not.
My question is, does the 2009 FLSTC come stock with the tender cable? did the shop that did the engine work, forget to put it back? or is it an aftermarket thing that I need to get? Or am I looking in the wrong place?
The battery tender hook-up is an accessory. Some dealers install them and some don't. They only cost 7 bucks and take 5 minutes to install if you need one.
Yeah kind started having the feeling that might be the case...found it on the harley website which ment to me that its an accessory...well I know what I am picking up tomorrow...I loved it on my 06 it made wintering the bike a lot easier

Not just wintering the bike. I plug my bike into the battery tender every time I roll it into the garage, year-round. I also soldered an adapter to the end of my GPS power wire, and plug the GPS into it when I'm riding. Very handy indeed.
