memphis shades windshield question
OK guys, I am poking my head in from the touring section to see if any of you may be able to help. My wonderful HD provided windshield has a stress crack in it. I have only ridden with it once the day I picked the bike up. I was putting it on the other day and SNAP!! Anyway, HD will not warranty it so I think I am going to replace it with a memphis shades replacement glass in the 15" My question is about the color. I am either going to go with their black or solar. The pics on their site make the solar look very clear, not much different than their actual clear glass. If any of you guys have or have seen their solar glass in person, please chime in and let me know how it looks. If you have any good pics of one, it would be great if you could post 'em up

Go with WIND VEST. You will not be dissappointed. I have the 14'' clear and it saved my life on quite a few trips. I have had some serious rocks hit it and they just brushed right off. I would not recommend anything other than clear. If your eye sight is not over the windshield it might bother you.
