Default Making my bags removable?

My next project is making my bags removable.
I am leaning toward cycle-visions bare-backs.
As you can see my bags are mounted low and I want to maintain that.
Does anyone have experience with bare-backs?
My bags are large will the bare-backs handle the weight?
Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I looked at some at an HD shop when I was considering the same thing...

I >think< if your bags have built in support they would work fine. If you have wheel guards instead (throw over) then you may or may not like them.

You also will want to buy the caps for them. Your total investment will be like $180...

I thought that was pretty high for four chrome studs, some nuts, and some springs so I didn't go for it yet. I can remove my bags in about 5 minutes and replace the bolts for quite a while for $180...

I got the bare backs on my Cross Bones with the stock bags, worth every penny, can take or put the bags on in a few seconds, as far as the caps there made to pop on and off so they dont fall off, thats why there forty bucks. I dont no how your bags are fitted on your bike bike I would call cycle vision and ask. all I had to do with mine is replace the male bolts that go in the fender that hold the bags on and put the female bolts on the saddle bags. heres a link to some pics of mine. http://s255.photobucket.com/albums/h...0bare%20backs/

I've got easy brackets as well. They work great...and if you don't haul anything really heavy in your bags, you don't have to worry about the support brackets...they fit into the easy brackets snug and solid enough that there's plenty of support...as long as your not hauling around bricks!

I've always heard these ghost brackets were high quality. Saw them on an old heritage and he liked them.
