Ok guys I am pretty sure this post may make me an idiot but here goes I bouth my 2003 Softail with screaming eagle double barrel exhaust I was told the baffles were drilled out well I am now installing a PC III USB and wanted to improve torque and HP at the low end so I found a set of screamin eagle double barrel with baffles or so I was told, I bought them they were delivered last night now the idiot part I am not sure what I am looking at what does the baffle look like (mine were gone before I bought the bike) can anyone describe the baffle of the SE double barrel and what I should see or better yet a Picture? Thanks
I had the SE double barrel exhaust on my '06 Deuce.
The baffles are held in with two allen head screws at the end of the exhaust.
you need to remove the heat shields to access the screws.
if you want to make it sound better, louder and increase HP, install a set of V&H quiet baffles in them.
they're very inexpensive and will give the exhaust a very deep sound!
FYI..
The SE double barrel exhaust was made by V&H for HD.
V&H has re-issued the SE Double Barrel exhaust as the "V&H Q-Series" exhaust.
