Just wondering if anyone has ever taken the baffles apart on SE mufflers and removed the packing. I would like my bike to be a little louder without removing the stock SE mufflers on my 2006 FLHTCUSE. Thanks!
I had the 06' screaming eagles and some thought they were loud. Looking at them when off they looked by design to be restrictive. Hang on to them, might be able to sell. OR pull out the baffle and run the bike see if you like that. I went with the CFR and they put out the most deep sound I have ever heard. But beware, wannabe tuners say they cant tune with this pipe. They have NO restriction to create back pressure.

I think it depends which SE mufflers you have. If you have the 65115-98B mufflers that were available in 2006 the answer is no. They have sealed baffle "cartridge". However, if you have this model you can pull the baffles and order new, louder baffles from SuperTrapp.
