What's the going price for a new 09 Softail Deluxes now?
The best prices quoted has been dealers discounting by no set-up and factory transportation charge.
This deal is with my trade in of a 08 sportster for the full msrp value. Anyone get a better deal in CA and if so, what dealership? Being retired, may be worth the time and scoot for the best price.
I am not sure about the price, but my mom just bought an 08' Deluxe. They got a better deal becuase the 09's were already on the floor. They live in Los Angeles and she bought her Deluxe in CO (where my sister lives) because it knocks about $500.00 off the price of the bike because they don't put the CA emissions package on bikes sold outside of CA and they saved some more money that way only having to pay CO sales tax instead of CA prices. This trick only works if you know someone out of state who will let you register it to their address. I have heard two versions of timelines for outside registration to avoid CA sales tax and installation of emmisions equipment... twelve months out of state registration is one I heard and 3,000 miles was the other. I know it's not really the answer you were looking for, but it is something to consider.
Well here in new york I just paid 17,449 for a blk with wheel package which is msrp and I traded my 06 sporty they gave me 7000 for my bike.hope that helps ya I don't know if they will go below msrp but you may be able to get some extras in there.
Sounds like the steelers still have a tight reign on prices... That's good for them and blue book value. Thanks for the updates so far. Kept them coming..
Couldn't get any deals so ended up buying a used 2007 with 1,600 miles. Then Harley announced layoffs and plant closures. If they would only start to deal...
