Running wires inside bars. I'm confused
Ok, once again I'm confused. I finally got everything I need to finish installing my 12.5" apes on my 99 Fatboy. I ran my left side wires, (switch & turn signal), & they went though the bar relatively easy. I thought "piece of cake". I started mounting my controls, only to find out that the turn signal wires,(I'm mounting the signals in the stock location under the clutch lever mount), are preventing the switch mount from fitting up against the clutch lever mount. Am I going to have to run the signal wires on the outside of the bars? I thought about moving them, but I have a quick disconnect windshield, & auxillary lights & really don't see how or where I could move them to. Any help here would be appreciated as I'm really tired of my bike being torn apart. The weather here says I have plenty of time to finish this, but my lack of patients says it's time to get it done, & see how purty it's gonna be. Thanks.

You can run all the wires inside the bar, not a problem at all. Did you drill out a hole in the switch housing for the turn signal wires to exit, to mount them on the bar?
If you look at a new fatboy it is all internally wired. It has a hole with a grommet where the turn signal wire exits. You do no have a large enough hole in the bottom of the switch housing. It needs to be drilled out.

Thanks crazybastid83. I found the hole on the left side & got it drilled out. Worked perfect. There's no hole on the right side, but it looks like there's room to drill one. It'll be close to a small metal bracket on the inside of the housing, but I think I can make it work. Thanks again.
