I just found a big dent in my front fender. So, what are my options? I had planned to leave the bike stock as far as paint. Now I have to replace the fender. This opens up new options I've never thought about before.
Are there some nice replacement fenders out there that would be good to have painted to match my stock tank and rear?
Should I just look around for a stock replacement fender from someone doing mods to their bike?
I wanted a blue denim 08 and ended up getting my 09 instead. Should I get a new fender and have it all painted blue denim?
I don't really know what I want to do now. I don't have much money to spend, so that will prob limit what I can accomplish. I may have to live with a dented fender for a while because of it.
Throw out some options for me. I have some research to do and could use your help with ideas.
Can you post a picture of the dent? Is the paint messed up? If it is just a dent, I would think one of those automotive paintless dent removal places should be able to fix it. I used one of those places for a real sharp dent in a rear quarter panel on a car. It looked like it was hit by an ax. When they were done you couldn't find where the dent used to be.

Sorry you had a problem. You can order a new fender already painted your color from HD. You could take to a repair shop and have it repaired as long as the paint code is available from an aftermarket paint supplier.
It's my own fault. I mounted the Rocker fork bag on there and sure enough the fender hit it. It put a nice dent the width of the fender. I think it scuffed up the paint too. I just put the bike away and walked in the house when I found it.
Well it appears you have only one option if you don't have much money to spend...leave it alone and ride the bike until you can afford to repair/replace it. A new fender painted from HD will cost you upwards of $400.00. All new tins in denim blue will cost you about $2000.00. Your choice at this point.
i had a come to your home dent removal guys come to the house, he got the dent out and a dab of harley touch up paint and its done.
you have to be looking to find it. total cost 50$
Brand new bike, I'd probably replace it with a factory painted fender. 6-8 weeks to get one. Rear one for my Heritage was $400 from the dealer. I'm wondering if they're availabe from Zanottis or other online vendors.

Should be, put the P/N in Zanotti's cute little search engine and see if it comes up.
