Going to have to get a fender, paint job. Lots of bucks. I personally think the tombstone tail light has run its course. What would look good on yours would be a lay down lens and with your black paint the blacked out one would look good.

I've never seen those lay down lenses before...those are sweet. I'm gonna have to pick one of those up when I've got some extra $$$ to play with.

Thanks....

Never saw one on the Fatboy but I do have one on my Deluxe which has a very similar rear fender, minus some chrome trim. I think it looks good personally.

Could you post of pic of what it looks like installed? I'm curious about the look when it's actually on the bike. Thanks

I have a Fatboy Fender on my Bones. J&P said their Tombstone light would fit, it didn't, thank God for a good return policy. Stock light it is for now.

I just made one for my fatboy the cover the tail light and lays flat with inspection below it. I use the turn lamps for the tail also. I will be adding led tag lamps soon to light the tag at night. I am also making a single reat tail light from harley old school front turn signal. I have the "rearalerts" i got on ebay for $20 and they are great. I will post pictures soon

I would shave it... Never liked the that light. It's just the mock up but I'm getting there.

well I finished the tag cover where the tail light used to be. cost me about $20. Then I mounted the tail lamp and it cost me about $12 total including the lamp. I have not finished the wires from the lamp. I am looking for old cloth insulation that looks like old school spark plug wire. I also have a few other options for getting rid on the tail lamp cheap. because I have the Harley kit for the turn run option I really don't need a tail lamp and could option for led post or strip to light the tag. I also have the rearalert installed
