road 6 curved on my street bob. been on there for over 8k miles, and not ever 1 problem! But if you go this route you will have to get a plastic inspection plate it will bend witht he curved one.

I love the clean look of the side mounted plates but be aware that some states, Florida in particular, have in acted legislation to make that method of license plate mounting illegal with a stiff fine even with the first offense.

Correct you are. That is why I horizontal mount the plates I do here.

i ordered a road 6 customs one yesterday, cause i emailed them about the 1" axle version and they not only responded fast but seemed very friendly.. now i need to find some led bolts and a vivid black license plate frame to bend and put on..
after seeing those pics, i am glad i ordered it..

actually, it hasnt yet arrived.. i tracked it this morning and it should be here wednesday, and yes, i will absolutely post some pics for you to see. i orderd the 312XLHD bag which is 5 inches deep instead of the 312LHD which is only 4 inches deep.. i also paid extra for braiding and black studs... give me a couple days and i will post pics..
