i've always been a fan of this style and i'd like to get em i'm thinkin but i've not heard much about M.T. exhaust, are they good quality or not? i don't want to put junk on my bike.
also will they even fit my 08 fxstc? it just says 86-06 softail on their website...what ya'll think?
oh one more thing...think they'll look good on my bike? pic in sig.
i dont belive they will fit because of the 02 sensors and also you have a 200mm rear tire so i think that changes the game a little bit. anyway i would call before you give up on them.
Remember what John J. Arbuckle said, "You get what you pay for!"
Why do you think that similar style pipes from Vance and Hines cost more than twice the amount?
The Big Growls will fit an 08, I have a set of up and outs on my cross bones (with a 200mm tire). They are no O2 bungs that is why they only list '86-'06. I'm running a PCIII so the bungs weren't an issue.
The chrome is good quality. You will for sure need the heat shield or wrap these pipes, mine start to blue rather quickly. It could just be my fuel setup.
The pipes are LOUD and running no baffles you will lose some low end power.
