Default exhaust wrap

tell me what you guys think! header ''exhaust'' wrap if im correct, atleast i know it is for race cars! purpose is to contain heat, which in turn helps scavenge the exhaust gas better! so if i remove the heat shields on my short shots and wrap the pipes with header wrap and then put the shields back on this should do both of the forementioned! i want the benefit of the wrap, but i want the shields back on!!

sounds like a good idea. It looks like you're doubling up as far as temp heat emitting from the pipes. Two usually is better; try it out and let me know.

There should be a benefit to this in performance. It will likely come with a reduction in lifespan of the pipes... try it and let us know your results, if there is any increase in performance.
