Default delphi efi?

Hey guys new to the forum and a new harley owner as well. Just recently purchased an 09 Night Train. My wife ordered pipes for me for christmas and the dealership recommended a new air cleaner. The air cleaner i am interested in is the Roland Sands Design Venturi air cleaner. My questiion may make me sound stupid but here it is. The air cleaner says it only works with a Delphi EFI. Will this be compatible with my Night Trian? I appreciate any help with this.

All Harley's since about 02 use the Delphi system. But be aware of the fact that if you change the intake and exhaust your going to have to do something about the ECM's map. Left to its own devices its going to make the engine run VERY lean and eventually damage the engine.
If you don't have any plans for future engine (internal or external) power upgrades you can get the dealer to download a Stage 1 map that should take care of the problem.
If your interested in future engine upgrades you better start doing a search on here to find out what some of the various options are for upgrading the ECM or replacing it completely.

+1 on the Citoripus post

and welcome to the Fourm and our happy family

you should be able to find plenty of threads in the forum concerning the different ECMs out there. and I am sure you will have some fun reading through them...try not to get to hung up on the arguments about which is better or not, there are some very split opinions here on that, though in general, if you define your type of driving and the type of upgrades you want to do going forward, you should be able to pick the right one for you.
