Its the harley market your only supposed to "like" the bike and mod the hell out of it until you "love" it.

Default brawler

put the brawler seat on this morning and took it out for a hundred mile ride to see how it feels. liked the lower seat position but ill have to put some pegs on the crash bar for long trips. not a bad seat but it could use a little more padding.

I don't think it tilts the seat in the back too much where you notice it with decent springs. The first 2" springs I tried were from J&P cycle, and they were way to soft and bottomed out on the smallest bump (I'm 5'10" 185lbs). I then bought the 2" Traditional Style Seat Springs from Lee's Speed Shop on Ebay per a thread on this forum. They will still bottom on a big bump, but they feel the same as stock for the spring rate. They are a little smaller diameter where the spring fits the plastic collar. Use a little grease on the plastic bushing for the spring and the steel post on the seat bracket. Also make sure the plastic bushings are warm. They will break when pushed on to the post if its 15 degrees in your garage.

I have that Mammoth seat on my fatboy and find it quite comfy. It is not a soft cushion, but I really like it.

If your worried about arm reach that's a simple solution. Lossen up the 1/4 inch allen bolts on the risers and push those mini apes forward as much as you need too. Just moving them forward a couple of inches changes the visual appearance and feel of the bike.

And if anyone has suggestions of other seats that would be great!

thanks
I'm 6'4" & 220 lbs. I have a vinyl H-D Brawler seat on mine, I love how it sits, & hated the sprung seat.
