Other than color available for each, there are way too many differences between these bikes. Try them both, and then decide what you want. The Bob is a great bike. I miss mine!

I went back and forth between the Street bob and the Cross Bones and ended up with the Cross Bones. Sitting on the Dyna now it feels small but I think that has to do with the peg/shifter location. I have not regretted buying the Bones. I think most dealers rent a Fat Bob but not a Bones so I would at least rent or Demo each as I did.

I love the Cross bones, but... for the same price, you can get the St. Bob with forwards, a stage II, what ever pipe you like and a Dyno tune. I'd say pretty close any way. If I had it to do over, that's what I would have done. I'd love to have a bike that is pulling 100hp, and 110tq. ! That cooler looking Softail, would look even nicer as you were blowing him off the road !
