Default PM brakes

I would like to know if anyone with a FL softail has put on a 13inch rotor with a 6 piston caliper. How much did it improve your braking? I am looking at putting an 18 inch wheel on the front with the 13 inch rotor and 6 piston caliper all PM components. I already have the HD roadwinder wheels on the bike and am only really looking at changing if it improves my braking. Any input would be welcomed.

I have pm 6 piston on my 03 fxst (21") front wheel (roadwinder) and I would have to say the braking feels firmer in the brake lever. It is not as mushy as stock but I also put progressive stiff springs in the forks. Overall I am happy with the pm product.
I did also add the 4 piston to the rear (I like balance).
Good Luck

Thanks for the reply. It appears that everyone is content with the factory brakes. I have to believe that there is better braking available.

I have the PM 6 piston in the front a 4 piston in the rear. Bought the bike used with these calipers already installed. This was a big part of my decision and I gotta say that if the stock brakes are anything like those on my wife's sporty, I amde the right decision. Most important stuff on bikes are brakes and tires.

I think my rotor is 11.5" but I gotta say these calipers stop very well. I could not imagine not having them.
