Default Fuel leak crossbones

This has happened twice that I know of after filling the tank at the gas station. When you get done pumping and stand the bike up off the jiffy stand about a 6 inch stain of fuel in front of the rear tire by the swing arm. It only leaks after I fill up as far as I know. Nothing in the garage. Is it some type of overflow or somthing?

That is the fuel tank overflow. If it is cold the gas in the tank will expand. Don't worry, it's normal.

Thanks Annubus your bike rocks and 13 has been a lucky number for me as well. Do you know why I cannot pump more than 3.7 gal in my bike. Isnt it supposed to have a 5 gal fuel tank. When my fuel gets low the indicator lets you know how many miles left to empty than when under 10 miles left it just says Lo. Ive had it down to Lo a few times and have never been able to put more than 3.7 gallons in it. Just seems like Iam allways puttin gas in it and the dealer says dont worry just ride it.

It's just the vent bleeding off the excess pressure and fluid in the tank, as it expands inside the warm gas tank compared to the colder fuel coming out of the ground at the station. Normal.

LOL at 200 miles you might be pushing to a gas station on a cross bones.
