Funny you ask this i was just talking about this today, I've thought about doing this every since i bout my rocker. I've looked into it, anything can be done. just need to get the right length and rake. I may have one on soon and when i do you'll have some pics
Yes it can be done. There are several companies out there that make custom springer. An example would be Rolling Thunder. To make the custom forks you have to take the measurements in the picture below. Another is American Suspension, I especially like the Dragon Slayer Springer pictured below. The following companies also make springers:
yes it can be done. look at the '09 CVO springer, it is the same bike as the rocker. it has the same frame. just a few different parts
The rake on the Rocker C and the CVO Softail Springer are in the neck and are different: 1) Rocker C: 36.0° rake/6.20 in. trail, and 2) CVO Softail Springer: 32° rake/4.46 in. trail. Also the rear suspension on the Rocker and the CVO Softail Springer are different.
