I'm considering a similar set-up. AN intake with V&H Big Radius. I've considererd doing the work myself. Please let us know how the install went.

Also, with the PC-V, did you buy the auto tune module? Was the map installed at the factory? Will the map allow you to run the setup without a Dyno?

I've been told conflicting stories about whether you must have the setup dyno'd to run right.

Thanks & GL with the install

I may put this on hold for a bit... to me the louder the better so I didn't order baffles but
I'm reading that they help with back pressure which increases low range torque right...
NEVERMIND
I went back and read again to make sure I was right (didn't want to sound stupid and open
myself up to ridicule lol) Each system comes complete with standard baffles, so that being
the case the install is still on.

Now, to answer your question pearlandhd, I did not order the autotune and the mapping was
done by fuelmoto and Jamie (@fuelmoto) told me that I would NOT "need" a dyno. (I'm not
sure he emphasized the word need but I think he should've as it sounded as though it may be
something that I "want" to consider later... if I do anything else to the bike.)

Ya, the bike of course will run better after a dyno ...but it's not something you 'need'. I decided to get mine with a SERT and get dynoed. Even though its more expensive, I figured I'd bit the bullet and get it done the way I wanted from the start. I'll be doing mine on the 26th. Good luck PCH, post pics and all that when you're done.

Sounds like you got yourself a nice set up......When I redo the pipes and motor nxt winter on my 06 Iam going with O2 sensors so I can run a closed loop system all the way.

If you don't mind, can you explain SERT to me?

What are you going to have to do to go with the O2 sensors? What are you doing to your motor next winter?
