What are you going to have to do to go with the O2 sensors? What are you doing to your motor next winter?
Going 107......Haveing 02 sensors will give you good fuel all the way thru the power band 0%-100% were as the 06 goes into closed loop around 2500 rpm or so I believe or at around 15% thottle......O2 is just a better way to get full fuel management.
Definitely don't forget the exhaust port gaskets. I used a flat head screwdriver to pop them loose being careful not to scar or knick the port. http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/n...wood/seals.jpg
Also when you remove the front head pipe, be careful not to rub it against the frame. I had warranty work done on the motor and here's a pic of what happened.
Also put a towel or blanket on the ground where you are working just in case!
Reading the installation instructions for the V&H BSS last night and the list of tools list a pair of snap pliers (needed for removing the stock exhaust?) Can I use needlenose pliers instead? If not it's no biggie because I'm probably going to go buy a good torque wrench and some wire strippers so I can look for those too. Any other tools, solvents, lubricants or anything else I might need?

I used needle nose pliers to get the rings in and out of the exhaust flange bracket. They will be re-used

I might one day to to 96 but right now I'm happy with the 88. 107? can't even imagine that kind of power. Having 02 sensors installed sounds costly? and time-consuming?
clean your pipes off good before startup oils and dirt can get burned in and be a bitch to get off
that's mentioned at least twice in the instructions... I hope I don't forget. I'll be so close to being done at that point I can see me forgetting that.

thinking of getting a head start and maybe installing the AN BS SII tonight... and maybe even the PC-V so all I have to do Tuesday is the pipes. Good idea or not (riding two days with the PC-V... without the V&H)? I wouldn't think it'd be that bid a deal?
