Ape hangers on a Springer Questions
Hey Guys...This is my first visit to the Softail forum. I have a Street Glide so I spend my time on the Touring forum hanging out with the old guys
The reason I am here is that I have a ridding partner that has a 03 Heritage Springer that he is wanting to put apes on.
I was hoping that you guy could help us out with advise on bars, cables, places to buy, ect. ect...
I am a good wrench, but I have never tackled this job

Also, If you have any pics of Springer's with apes I would love to see them.

A springer without apes is blasphemy! Your friend must have them. As far as how tall, that's totally up to the laws of your state and what he's comfortable with. If it were me, it'd be 16" Carlini apes with stainless steel braided cables.

I will check out Hill country custom cycles.
I went to the Springer photo gallery and most of the pics got lost when the site had trouble. I did a search for Ape Hangers and found a few pics.
If you have any more pics of Springers with apes it would be appreciated. We are trying to figure out what to do with the front turn signals.

Turn Signal relocation
If you are still looking to do something with his turn signals. Use this web site. This guy makes some real nice bracket that rellocate the turn singal under the aux. lights. They look real sharp. You wont be disappointed. You will have to call him. You can'r order the bracket from his site.
