I'd replace it. In fact, on my 2005 XL1200C, I had to do that twice while my subdivision was still under construction. Pissed me off... a lot... but I ain't dead. Hate to spend a couple hundred bucks replacing a tire with plenty of tread, but no tire or motorcycle dealer around here would plug or patch, only replace. Anyway, it's probably safer that way, but the real reason they don't repair is because of lawyers.
