got an 07 night train that just installed bassani's pro street exhaust...rear o2 sensor is touching the cylinder...so far i've been told to relocate the bung on the exhaust...
has anyone come up with a different solution?
ideas / suggestions?
Damn that's brutal.. . I think you may have just been unlucky though as I haven't seen anyone else post anything like this. I just bought a pair of these myself and I sure hope it's not the same on mine. I'm assuming that you can't send them back for a different set??
the o2 sensors that the tmax auto-tune module uses are longer than the stock ones...so if you've got the stock ecu there's nothing to worry about (remember that if you also change to high flow air intake you will need to remap the ecu or change it or get some sort of fuel management module...feel free to ask if you've got questions about this)...most people decide to use a module to take care of the efi (fuel/air mixture) and eliminate the o2 sensors...i want keep the pro street exhaust so i'll find the way to fix it, just thought could find some help and ideas here
if it were me i would get a power commander from jamie that eliminates the sensors,or i would contact him and see what could be done for your situation, has far as i am concerned the sensors are just harleys answer to stay with in epa regulations to make your bike run ****ty i eliminated mine on an 06 street bob with a pc3 and have not regretted it yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have pro-streets, the pc3 with o2 sensor delete and stage1 air cleaner on my 08 train. Works great. less burnt legs too. jaimie from fuel moto set up my pc3 with the map and it runs great. Sounds better. no disappointment here.

Makes perfect sense to me now, thanks for clearing that up. What about looking for a shorter O2 sensor?? I doubt it matters as long as it's wide band, after all it's just a sensor right? They must be available in different lengths. Check with Bosch,I'm sure they could help you out or at least point you in the right direction.
