well im getting ready to have my chrome front end(which i scored off e-bay for $120.00 fully shipped) put on with my ness drop dampners. my ? is which gives you a better ride the ness dampners or the progressive drop springs? and yes im using screamen eagle heavy fork oil...just curious
Now thats a good question. I put in progressive dropins and its not bad at all, I would like to know if the ness dampners work better. Racetech is the real hot setup but more $$. Progressive works for me right now, after next year I hope to go with airsusp then may upgrade. Nice to see you back
I used the Ness Custom Dampers. Got a 2" drop on the front end. I went with the HD Racing fork oil. It rides great to me, but I like the stiffness. But sh$t, what do I know, I rode an Ironhorse rigid for 4 years.
well im having my front end put together sometime this week i went with the ness dampners. i read about alot of guys goen with the progressive drop springs which makes wonder about them. im sure there is no difference but im just wondering.i have the bolts in the rear but they are a mess, i thought i could get away with a cheap mod but No WAY! air in the rear will be installed very soon..thanx B&K good to be back

Don't know about the Ness dampners, but I did do the Progressive drop-in. Loving it so far, and no complaints.
Out back I have the ebay Ultima shocks for $120, and I'm liking the ride with them. I know some people here have said they're no good, but with the preload really soft (I only ride solo) the ride is better than stock for me.
