Default Removing Rocker Axle

I can't figure out these new axles on the Rocker. I'm trying to change my rear tire. For those of u who don't know already the Rocker doesn't use the traditional nut w/ cotter pin. It's a big 3/4" allen head. The left side is the nut, and instead of a cotter pin, it has some plastic piece in the middle of the hex head that the dealer told me acts as a thread locker. They said to pull the plastic piece out before trying to loosen the nut.

Well try as I might I can only get the plastic piece to pull back about 1/2". I can't get it the whole way out. Is this all the farther it's supposed to come out? I tried loosening the nut with the plastic piece out 1/2" and it won't budge. Please help.

Greetings,

I don't know, but a service manual would be your friend. I'd call your dealer and see if they have one in stock.
