$2000-$2500.... People will tell you cheaper because they shopped around but if you walk in and want it done all harley parts that is about the average. You can get some killer deals online stores and put it together yourself.
well depends on who does the work, which state the tax and what else you are getting done...ie. change cams, pipz, gear driven instead of chain...or even if you can do it yourself...anywhere from parts price to 3500 think and of course you can find even higher prices
05 TC88's had valve guide seal issues. So in the case of my bike the dealers labor was charged to warranty on the valve issue and the stage 2 big bore kit parts were like $750.00.
After the generic dealership stage 2 build I took it back in to the motor guru at my local shop and to make it all work a bit better and had the: Heads milled and ported, Adjustable pushrods,3 angle valve job, .05 overbore with hand matched rings. That cost $850 + tax.
Instead of the canned harley mapping or even the SERT I took the bike to our local hotshot tuner where he used the direct link and dyno tuned the bike for another $450.00.
Along the way I had to buy a new set of pipes as my standard big shots wouldnt work with my build.
End result was 93HP 104TQ.Keep in mind mine was an 88 when it began So if you can install the stage 2 parts yourself (Jugs, Cams Etc..) for 2 grand on that 96" you could certainly be there...There meaning at least 100Hp and well over 100TQ if you have a skilled dude work the heads and a good tuner to bring it all together.. These motors like a little compression bump and head work.
